Stewardship begins with the understanding that everything we have is a gift from the Lord…our time, our talents, and our financial resources. Simply stated, Biblical stewardship means God's ownership and our partnership.  Through the tithes and offerings of Pine Grove Baptist Church members, God continues to bless people both locally and around the world.

There are several ways you can give to further this mission through Pine Grove Baptist Church.

      • Give online:  A convenient & secure way to give with a one-time donation or through recurring donations through PayPal at pinegrovebc.net.
      • In-Person:  You can give in-person during the designated offering time of the service or during Sunday School.
      • By Mail:  You may order pre-printed envelopes (whether you’re a church member or not) for mailing in your offerings by contacting Yvonn Allen at 318-442-0418.

    • Our Position on Marriage and Sexuality

      1. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as defined in Scripture.  Accordingly, this Church, its pastors, staff and members will not participate in same sex unions or same sex marriages, nor shall its property or resources be used for such purposes.
      2. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
      3. We believe that any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography or any attempt to change one’s sex, or disagreement with one’s biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God.
      4. We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of the church as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the church members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the church in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, should abide by and agree to this Statement on Marriage and Sexuality and conduct themselves accordingly.
      5. We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
      6. We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of the church.

      VBS Rescheduled
New Dates: July 20th – 24th 6:00-8:30 With Family Day: Sunday, July 26th @ 10:30 The reason for the rescheduling is due to the uncertainty of the Hwy 454 road condition. On May 20th, we met with the Forman and were informed that with no delays, he plans to be through with the hard surface and ready for the asphalt crew by June 3rd. That schedule would have had little impact on our VBS dates. However, as of May 27th, the crew had only been able to work one day due to rain. Knowing that and not knowing how much more delay may happen over the next two weeks, we decided last Wednesday night (May 27th) to reschedule the dates. Additionally, with the rescheduling, both our and Ritchie Baptist Church’s VBS are not occurring on the same dates. This may also benefit attendance.

    • Verse of the Day

He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be their peace.
